Paint Shop
The impressive paint booth is one of the best in the country and allows us to consistently produce a top quality finish that we have become known for.
Our 21-metre commercial paint booth can be split to accommodate two tractor units at the same time. We are an AkzoNobel Acoat Selected Network paint shop site offering environmentally friendly waterborne paint systems in both solid and base coat/clear finishes. We also use an Electrostatic paint system for better coverage on vehicle chassis and trailers.
Shotblasting
Our new purpose built shotblasting bay is 18 metres long, 5.5 metres wide and capable of holding most UK specification of truck and trailer. The process uses an HG steel grit, which is blasted onto the surface to remove rust, scale and existing paint from a vehicle, providing a clean surface and preparing for re-coating if required. It recycles the blast spent abrasive to reduce the waste and has the most up to date dust extraction to aid operators visibility.
