The MC Group would like to keep you all informed about how we are supporting our customers and employees during this period. We would like to start by thanking the amazing front line workers of our incredible NHS and all those involved in key industries battling to keep us safe and well in these difficult times.
We would also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our hard working customers, out there providing essential supplies and services in the fight against this virus, doing their part to keep the country moving.
To reassure our customers whilst at reduced staffing levels and in some locations reduced opening hours our workshops, and parts department operations are open in order to keep these essential vehicles on the road, which is crucial to the UK’s response to the present COVID-19 crisis. MC Rental are also providing vehicle rental, most of which is to sectors deemed critical at this time and again are operating with reduced staffing. The health and safety of our customers and employees is paramount and at the forefront of what we do. Therefore we are doing everything we can to ensure procedures and guidelines are achieved and in place to safeguard everybody whilst continuing to provide these essential services.
Also we would like to take this time to thank everyone for their patience and understanding in such unprecedented circumstances. MC are a family orientated company and have, like most UK businesses, been highly impacted by the speed at which the necessary lockdown has happened. We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to try and meet our customer needs, and to keep operating, this has sadly meant we have seen some of our team, including Directors family members furloughed or made redundant.
To try and clarify some misunderstanding MC Rental are not a registered financial provider but an asset management company. Consequently MC Rental do not directly have the support from the bank of England as the financial institutions do. We are in regular contact with our own funders as the situation continues to develop and are doing everything in our power to assist our customers at this time although we may not be able to achieve all the requests.
Thank you all for your co-operation, and understanding.
Let us all continue working together to get back to normality again.
Please stay safe and healthy.
