Regional Parts Sales Executive

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Parts Sales Executive to join our successful business development team. With a sales area covering the whole of the Southeast including Essex, Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, your focus will be on winning new customers for genuine Volvo parts and Volvo’s extended offer Truck Shop Europe. Working closely with the front counter and business development teams you will be responsible for following up on leads and generating new leads using all the available sources of information. This role will suit a results-driven sales professional who is skilled at building and developing new relationships with high-value customers.

Your main focus will be;

  • Identifying and developing new business with high value customers.
  • Generating new leads using all available resources.
  • Opening accounts with new customers and lapsed customers.
  • Managing the customer relationship with new accounts to ensure sales are maximised.
  • Developing the relationship with new customers to take advantage of all opportunities.

To succeed in this important and challenging role you will need;

  • A full driving licence.
  • A proven track record in parts sales either with a truck dealer or factor.

Parts Specialist (Back Counter)

MC Truck & Bus Ltd are currently recruiting for a Parts Specialist to join our back counter parts team at Burgess Hill. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of vehicle parts (ideally commercial or car) to provide parts support to a shift of HGV Technicians and customers. Applicants must be target orientated with previous experience of working within the motor industry preferably the Truck, Bus or Trailer industry.

Main Duties:

•Concisely identifying and accurately issuing parts to the workshop ensuring any technician wait time is kept to a minimum.
•Liaising with suppliers for ordering non-Volvo parts.

Shift Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager to join the team at the Maidstone Depot. This important and challenging role requires a self-motivated, ambitious & driven individual with excellent vehicle industry knowledge. Applying your knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanics you will effectively delegate technical work to the Workshop Technicians. You will be supported by a Shift Supervisor. Duties will include:-

•Motivating and managing a shift of Technicians ensuring efficiency & productivity targets are met

•Issuing work to Technicians appropriate to their skill set

•Ensuring repair and service work is carried out to a high standard, monitoring quality

•Ensuring workshop performance targets (GP, Efficiency, Productivity) and customer expectations are met

•Maintaining & using the In-House Tranman system to obtain authority for In-House & MCR vehicles

•Maintaining accurate paperwork in all areas

Parts Advisor

MC Truck & Bus Ltd are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Thurrock Depot. This is a hybrid role working between the Front Counter and Back Counter for a HGV Dealership. The ideal candidate will have a good understand of vehicle parts to provide support to a shift of HGV Technicians and customers. Providing excellent customer services, providing parts sales within branch as well as externally and maintaining customer relationships Applicants must be target orientated with previous experience of working within the motor industry preferably the Truck, Bus or Trailer industry.

Main duties include:

  • picking, selling, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and ordering/supply.
  • identifying and accurately issuing parts to the workshop to maintain productivity.
  • liaising with suppliers for ordering non-Volvo parts and ensuring job cards contain correct parts information ready for the admin team to invoice.
  • using a computerised parts system and a main agent catalogue system.
  • general warehouse duties: stock control, liaising with suppliers and delivering parts when necessary.
