We are committed to reducing the impact of our business on the environment in a cost-effective and considered way. Here are three examples of what we’re doing to benefit both the environment and our customers through better and more efficient processes:
Recycling water
Our Hythe depot is now recycling the water used in steam cleaning. Waste water is treated and then reused in the steam cleaning process.
Energy efficient heating
We recently upgraded the heating systems across our workshops and warehouses to a more energy-efficient system which has reduced energy consumption by more than 30%.
Waste disposal and recycling
The legislation governing the disposal of oils and other waste has changed in recent years to further minimise its environmental harm. MC Group employs one of the UK’s leading waste disposal companies to ensure that waste oil and consumables such as antifreeze, batteries and oil filters are disposed of properly and where possible, recycled and reused.
